博格巴感謝紅魔迷
憑藉在2017年8月里優異的個人表現，法國中場博格巴獲選為曼聯俱樂部8月最佳球員，他感謝紅魔迷的支持。
博格巴在8月的3場英超比賽里打進2球和送出2次助攻，他已是連續第2個月獲得這一殊榮。今年5月，也就是上賽季的最後1個月，博格巴也獲得月最佳球員獎項。
在接受 MUTV 採訪時，24歲的博格巴接過月最佳球員獎座並感謝紅魔迷的支持，「我真的很開心，也要感謝所有在上個月給我投票的球迷。過去的8月，對我和對球隊而言，都是一段非常棒的經歷。希望我們能再接再厲。賽季是非常漫長的，我希望自己能保持這種水平的表現，幫助球隊拿到好成績。」
本周早些時候公布的統計數據顯示，博格巴是球衣銷售量最高的英超球員，「這當然會讓我感到高興，也讓我感到自豪。每一個人都想做到這一點，當你看到球迷穿上印有你名字的球衣，這就是所有球員想看到的景象。現在，我們必須用賽場上的表現來回報他們，把快樂帶回給他們。」
POGBA THANKS FANS AFTER WINNING AWARD
Paul Pogba has thanked the Old Trafford faithful after he won Manchester United's Player of the Month award for his performances in August 2017.
The France international midfielder was the club's star performer in August, and he contributed two goals and an assist as the Reds began the 2017/18 Premier League campaign with wins over West Ham United, Swansea City and Leicester City.
It also marks his second successive Player of the Month win, as he also claimed the accolade in May for his efforts in the back end of last season.
In an interview with MUTV, the 24-year-old was keen to pay homage to the fans after picking up his award, saying: "I'm just very happy and would like to say thanks to the fans who voted for me last month.
"It has been great for me and great for the team," he added. "Hopefully we are going to carry on like that. The season is very long and I need to hopefully keep on this level to help the team."
Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this week that shirts with Pogba's name on outsold every other player in the Premier League.
"That obviously makes me happy and makes me feel very proud," he said. "It is something everyone wants to do, when you see the fans get behind you, it's what all the players need. Now, we have to respond on the pitch and keep giving them this happiness back."
